The other day my sis LG asked me what does mr gp stand for…mr grouchy pants? I was laffing my bootie-licious off at that one. Here I thought everyone “just knew” what I was sayin and all along you were tryin to figure out what in tarnation who/is mr gp… I never meant to leave anyone hangin…so not how I roll

So here in B&W are a list of georgieisms:

georgieisms=the way I say something;a catch-phrase;my own lango;a nickname

mr gp=my dh and it stems from my screen name georgieporgie, get it? However, I do REALLY like mr grouchy pants! I reserve the right to substitute mr grouchy pants for mr georieporgie at least 3 weeks out of 4

dh=dear husband aka mr gp

beans=my kiddos, referring to them as kids reminds me of goats and children sounds to formal for this blog and you all know there isn’t anything “formal” about this blog

a quick disclaimer on “beans” sometimes I say we are having bean nachos or beans and fried taters we are in no way shape or form canibals, we are eating beans just not those “beans” ;)

DYK~I have a wonderful ASS

yep I do… My ASS Rocks,My ASS is the sweetest,My ASS knows me very well…

Okay let explain, before my pc gave me fits, I was a fancy pants member on the DYK message board and everyone decided it would be fun to have an ASS (a special someone) exchange. Since I can’t get the DYK site to load grrrr-I can’t post that I have recieved my gift. So I gotta do it via the blog…

I miss ALL my fancy pants friends and I want my wonderful ASS to know that her gift was awesome…

So, to my oh so wonderful ASS Thank you so much! I LOVE the measuring spoons-the Vera Bradley make-up bag in chocolate brown is beautiful and the very cool water bottle-which will come in handy next week at the hospital. Here is a pic of the goodies…

Now this next lil pic REALLY has me stumped-I know what it is and it is just adorable! I just don’t know who it’s from-is it part of my ASS gift? It said “from my DYK-friend” and came a day before the above goodies came LOL I think I am confusing myself now-here is a pic

Wish Upon A Hero

I recently discovered this site through bzzagent via the frogpong and I gotta tell ya “It is a WONDERFUL site”

So I am browsing the site last night and the wishes range from cards to trips and I think what a wonderful way to get the beans involved in the aspect of “paying it forward” teaching them the rewards of kindness on someone they don’t know and expecting nothing in return…doing a good deed for the right reasons. The beans have done some “community service projects” BUT those were in direct relation to a club/school and was expected. With this site the beans can search a huge list of wishes and pick one they wish to fulfill.

Lilest bean found one where a lil girl about her age wished for a tube of lip-gloss. Oldest bean found one where a granddaughter wanted 86 cards sent for her grandmothers 86th Birthday and middle bean is still searching for the perfect wish that will make him a hero in someones eyes.

Of course you can do these wishes where the other person knows who the wish granter is OR you can do it anonymously-we are going to do the latter.

The Power of Pine-Sol

OK so I thought everyone on Gods Green Earth burned a lil bit of pine-sol on their stove….

I grew up with papa(God Rest His Soul) pouring some pine sol in a pan and puttin it on the wood burning stove-those days are forever branded into my senses…

Then my bestie accussed me of tryin to get her high with the scent of pine-sol…NO really she had to go outside(light-weight…j/k love ya bestie)

So I get my handy dandy pine-sol pan(reserved especially for pine-sol burning occasions) and I fill it about 1/4 of the way full with water then I pour in some pine-sol just till the water turns white-ish then I crank up the heat on the stove-this burning scent does many things

1)drives mr gp CRAZY

2)burns mr gp’s eyes till he has to go outside for fresh air

2 & 1/2)makes my bestie accuse me of getting her high

3)mr gp HATES anything and everything I burn from candles,incense to pine-sol-so ignore 1 & 2

4)completely disinfects my counters and cabinets

5)disinfects all door handles,toliet handles and toliet seats

6)cleans my floors with the left over in the pan

7)it completely cleans my microwave

8)makes me feel like all air-borne germs have been irraticated

9)the beans are rarely sick and I give all credit to pine-sol & maybe my gaylord poster

10)that’s how I roll….

Apparently it’s a country thang to burn pine-sol on the stove but I LOVE the clean scent of pine-sol!

My Confession for today:my bestie is now burning pine-sol and NOT for the contact high! 

SATC

I recently became a SATC fan,groupie whatever term you wanna use, thanks to my bestie. Oh the fashion, Oh the glamour, Oh the drama, Oh the city, OH the SEX!

I have been catching up-going backwards via HBO’s on demand so I could be prepared for opening weekend and yes I contributed my part to the $59 million it made-just helping out the economy.

Who is my fav? Well thats a hard one I see a lil bit of myself in all 4 women but I think ima cross between Charlotte & Samantha-at least that’s what I tell myself. Do you watch? Do you have a Fav?

Oh and for those that have no clue what SATC is…Sex and the City the show/movie is what I am referring to…

My bestie and I had a wonderful day of no beans, we saw the movie,we laughed,we cried then we went and had margaritas at Los Cabos yum yum! It was a very adult day-something I havent had ina very long time! Only thing that coulda made it better was if they had half-nekkid waiters serving us Cosmo’s during the movie…

Some of my Favorite Things…

Yesterday I was curled up by the fire with my favorite goose down throw,a book by one of my favorite authors, listening to the rain(another favorite-just as long as it’s Not Noah’s Ark Rain). Just so you know where the inspiration for this post came from…I thought “Oprah does a “Favorite” things-why can’t I?” Only difference here is, you won’t be jumping up and down screaming and clapping  going home with any of my favorites, I can however share them with you. Feel free to jump up and down and scream and clap!

Let’s start with one of my favorite author’s: Janet Evanovich with her Numbers Novels & Between-the-Numbers Novels. My neighbor turned me on to this book series-she had, at the time, all 12 books and let me tell ya, when I pick up a book,especially a good book, I don’t put it down! Yanno that asteroid I sometimes pray for? Well it could hit and I would be oblivious to the fact. That’s how much I enjoy reading this series.

Her character Stephanie Plum reminds me a lot of myself,except I don’t work for my cousin Vinny at his bail bonds office,I am not single,my best friend isn’t an ex Ho named Lula and unlike Stephaine Plum I have Never blown up a car let alone 8 or 9 cars! I do not have a Grandma Mazur-but good grief, I sure wish I did. I also do not have a mysterious boy*friend named Ranger,an unmentionable named Diesel(unless you count Gaylord) or an under-cover Cop named Morelli. Ok, so maybe, just maybe, I am not so much like Stephanie Plum-but she sure does lead a very exciting life! I would like to invite you all to visit your local library or used book store and check out the first book in the series “One for the Money” I finished “Plum Lovin” yesterday, it is one of those Between-the-Numbers Novels and if anyone wants a fun-quick read-I would be more than happy to send this book your way…just let me know.

Another of my favorite things is actually a person Chelsea Handler She reminds me a lot of myself, except I don’t have a show on E,my best friend isn’t a lil person named chewy,I am not a comedian and I was never on Girls Behaving Badly-Ok, again, maybe we are not so much alike, BUT her show Chelsea Lately does make me laff my bootylicious off! So if you do only one thing today-click that link up there and be prepared to find a new-found love for “the dickie”.  

Lay’s are another of my favorite things! Oh get your mind outta the gutter and click on kettle cooked japaleno potatoe chips. They are yum yum yummy good! They go well while reading your Stephanie Plum book OR while viewing the Chelsea Handler show.

As Good As It Gets is one of my all-time favorite movies. This movie has it all…heart,soul,love,compassion,comedy,tears and “Melvin”! In 1997 it won 2 Oscars and it’s just one of those movies that gives you HOPE! If you haven’t see it-rent it. I’d loan you mine-but I refuse to part with it…

Eureka Springs is my FAVORITE place on planet earth. Some of you know why, because you too, have expierenced what I have, have fallen in love with what I have and that is the fact that ES the most relaxing,peaceful,romantic town in the good ol’ US of A.  A town with no stop lights,with some of the best restaurants,one of a kind shops and some of the coolest locals one could ever hope to encounter. It’s a place that when you visit, a part of your soul is left behind and not in a bad way-but rather, a beckoning, the town that calls you back-over and over. A place that with each new visit,once you thought you had discovered it all, you discover yet again, something new,something exciting,something that was just for you. It really is a magical place. It’s the “one” place I’d love to loose myself in…time and time again and I plan to do that this Feb.

What is a Blog…a challenge for me

ok, so I am always up for a challenge… yanno, like doing 8th grade algebra,shopping at victorias secret OR shopping at victorias secret with your 14 year old lil bean who has a free panty card-hey I want a free panty card, but wait they dont make panties that make my bootilicious look small~hence the challenge part of this post…

A Blog, so what is a blog anyway? After a brief google search-(I really like google,almost as much as I like that pic of gaylord…) These are some of the answers I found to… what the hell is a blog?

A frequently updated journal or diary,Short for “Web log”(wth is a weblog-I guess a whole nother blog for that-once i figure out what a blog is)  a specialized site that allows an individual or group of individuals to share a running log of events and personal insights with online audiences,Like an online dairy,A blog is information that is instantly published to a Web site-OH ok-I think I am getting it now…A frequent, chronological publication of personal thoughts and Web links-OK I definately understand a blog now!

Personal thoughts heck I gots plenty of those-so I am thinking maybe, just maybe I can do this bloggin thing I am hearing so much about …but the bigger Q will anyone read it? Will anyone care? Do I need to upload some video to youtube(again a whole nother blog-learning how to do that) Can I just put gaylord’s pic on a 2×4 and walk back and fro in front of this pc? GAWD thats gotta make the people come running to check out my blog….yeah maybe I will do that…
